Axure's Notice for the California Consumer Privacy Act
The California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 (CCPA) gives California residents more control over the personal information that businesses collect about them. This is Axure’s notice of California consumers’ privacy rights under the CCPA.
Your rights under the CCPA are described below. Please note that Axure does not sell your personal information.
California Consumer Privacy Act Rights
1. Right to know about personal information that is collected and how it is used and shared
California residents have the right to request, free of charge but no more than twice a year, the categories and specific pieces of personal information it has collected from them, the categories of sources from which it collected personal information, the purpose for collecting the personal information, the categories of third parties with whom the business shares personal information, and the categories of information it sells or discloses to third parties. Businesses must provide this information for the preceding 12 months.
2. Right to opt-out of the sale of personal information
California residents may request that businesses stop selling your personal information. With some exceptions, businesses cannot sell your personal information after they receive your opt-out request unless you later provide authorization allowing them to do so again. Businesses must wait at least 12 months before asking you to opt back in to the sale of your personal information. Axure does not sell personal information.
3. Right to non-discrimination for exercising CCPA rights
As a California resident, businesses cannot deny goods or services, charge you a different price, or provide a different level or quality of goods or services just because you exercised your rights under the CCPA.
4. Right to delete personal information that was collected (with some exceptions)
California residents may request that a business delete personal information it collected from you. However, there are many exceptions that allow businesses to keep your personal information.
