Activision has unveiled a new-look Lara Croft who’s set to hit Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone as part of Season 5 Reloaded, and the design has certainly set tongues wagging within the Tomb Raider community.
Not sure, can’t see her body at all and I can see she is wearing a sports bra that the average incel would cry “censorship”. I she simply resonates more with the image most people have of Lara.

Between this and Homelander super heroes and such it's looking less like COD, more like Fortnite with constant sell out sponsorships. These are essentially goofy ads woven into a FPS with a presumably serious tone. Not a fan

No, you're not the only one. It will most likely snowball from here too. Give it a few years. Call of Duty will be having strobing colored lights, dubstep music playing and Twitch streamer skins. I dropped Fortnite way back in the day when they started going ADHD on game mechanics and cosmetics. I swear it's like when a "chef" just throws a bunch of random ingredients into a casserole and calls it gourmet. There's no rhyme or reason to it anymore.
I dont know, in that second screen she kinda looks like Amy Schumer cosplaying Lara Croft. Im actually replaying RotTR right now and I think she looks damm near perfect in that game.

The reebot one looks better i think. I don't know what's the big deal honestly. Looks closer to Jill from RE lol Although i can see more of the older "mean" face look on this one with the brows.
I've liked every Lara design through the years. This one really feels like a modernized version of the classic. Love this design! Hope they stick with it for the next series of games.
The face looks NOTHING like Lara , there's clearly some ESG farming behind this face design and i hope to god its not what i think it is with this face .. she looks too androgynous and i can smell the estrogen reeking from this
1. Her jaw and facial structure are too masculine. 2. Lips arent plump, and are clearly thinner than anytime before. 3. She has an aggressive expression. 4. There is zero cleavage. This is the biggest issue with the design and my personal deal breaker. She appears to have a small bust, but worse, the sport bra and design do not make the most of it by pushing the breasts together to create cleavage.
Even the previous reboot design was better, because she at least had feminine facial features.
Lara in COD makes me sad as she should not be in that cash cow piece of shyte of a game Activision needs to create something new and take out the trash and now CD is so desperate after their buyout from Embracer "layoffs" Group they license their only hope - this will tarnish Tomb Raider's Lara Croft... Please stop with this crap and make great original games again - oh yeah that what ID Games are original and amazing just like the way AAA game used to be... wake up publishers and get with the program !
There was nothing wrong with reboot Lara. I thought the character and design were awesome. Studios can't please the whining internet then they try to fix what isn't broken and continue a cycle of messing it up even more.
It won't happen, beautiful women are a terrible objectification, you know. No issues with male objectification though, women are perfectly fine with that, even Billie Elish say that "ugly men deserve nothing", and they applaud, but god helps the developer that dares to put a attractive female character with bigger than average cleavage.
She looks like Jennifer Lawrence, and even in the other picture. I don’t see a problem with the reboot Lara in Rise of The Tomb Raider! She look good. She didn’t look like a plastic surgery model, but an actual woman. I just want to play the latest game keep the same look man.
Totally agree. Not a fan of this pudgy one at all. I honestly think they perfected her in Rise and then slightly downgraded her somehow in shadow, but overall that model IS Lara in my mind now and I have played all the games.
Yea and keep the same British Actress that was in True Blood the show. She did a great job as Lara, and I want to see her as the experience Lara now after the last 3 games.
Because unlike in the reboot games..she is sexy there again.
