Activision has unveiled a new-look Lara Croft who’s set to hit Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone as part of Season 5 Reloaded, and the design has certainly set tongues wagging within the Tomb Raider community.
Because unlike in the reboot games..she is sexy there again.
Not sure, can’t see her body at all and I can see she is wearing a sports bra that the average incel would cry “censorship”. I she simply resonates more with the image most people have of Lara.
people who use the word incel are so funny.
Hehe, well, incels are a joke
You and incel issue
Yeah cuz it’s cool to objectify women these days… wait. No it’s not. .
It's only cool when women can monetize objectifying themselves, right?
Speaking like a real incel. Been to Porhub today yet buddy?
@Stanjara What's wrong with Pornhub, are you living in the 90s?
***It's only cool when women can monetize objectifying themselves, right? *** Yes, this exactly. Kind of the same way it's not rape when they give consent. The fact you don't get this bothers me.
She looks like an ass. Like shes a mean person.
This is the Lara that we love.
Really good model, make it happen whoever owns the TR rights these days.
Embracer "layoff" Group - due to buying all the companies and making zero money so they will re-GROUP and layoff... piss poor EU money bags that failed with their investments and now will hurt amazing talent within those companies
I kinda like the Lara's model in Rise of the Tomb Raider
Hopefully we get this Lara next The sad thing is…to see Lara again and she’s being exploited for Call of Duty of all things
Between this and Homelander super heroes and such it's looking less like COD, more like Fortnite with constant sell out sponsorships. These are essentially goofy ads woven into a FPS with a presumably serious tone. Not a fan
Yeah I noticed that It's even bad for Fortnite because that's all it's really known for now, the big crossovers I mean there's Niki Minaj , 21 Savage and Snoop Dogg which were added as in game characters to celebrate 50 years of hip hop. Now did Call of Duty really need to celebrate 50 years of hip hop?
Still has the best FPS gameplay of any game on the market, i don't like it as much as you, but it has to be said.
@fsfsxii - Hmmm, VERY debatable. Not saying you're completely wrong. But Counter Strike and Rainbow Six Siege are a thing.
lets not forget Nicki Minaj. the character everyone has been waiting for to play as /s
exactly - no longer a USA company - now a sack of shyte Embracer 🤣
Even this version is really downplaying her hotness with that "safety" modesty tank top underneath her teal shirt to hide any potential cleavage. Also drastically reduced her chest size. Angelina Jolie Lara Croft is what to aim for, that is as on brand as you can be.
I’m all for a new tomb raider and even a new call of duty, but am I the only one that thinks it’s kinda dumb to have tomb raider IN call of duty?
No, you're not the only one. It will most likely snowball from here too. Give it a few years. Call of Duty will be having strobing colored lights, dubstep music playing and Twitch streamer skins. I dropped Fortnite way back in the day when they started going ADHD on game mechanics and cosmetics. I swear it's like when a "chef" just throws a bunch of random ingredients into a casserole and calls it gourmet. There's no rhyme or reason to it anymore.
I dont know, in that second screen she kinda looks like Amy Schumer cosplaying Lara Croft. Im actually replaying RotTR right now and I think she looks damm near perfect in that game.
"Fans" aka you. Mmm that's not it tho very round face which a lot of face models in games have these days and i don't know why maybe the tools devs use have this issue. The reebot one looks better i think. I don't know what's the big deal honestly. Looks closer to Jill from RE lol Although i can see more of the older "mean" face look on this one with the brows.
I've liked every Lara design through the years. This one really feels like a modernized version of the classic. Love this design! Hope they stick with it for the next series of games.
